Wednesday 12^th October until Saturday 5^th November, 2016

During the week my three loved ones are on their own. They go to the "Story Time" into the Waverly Library, to the aquarium or into the zoo. Rolf and family have been replaced by Marcel and Dorothea with the two and a half year old Lynn. Our wives now like to visit with the children the playgroup in the Holdsworth Community Centre. We already know the playground. But in the morning there is an extended choice of toys, they can tinker or listen to stories, etc.

Friday 7^th - Tuesday 11^th October, 2016

We drove with the car for a long weekend southwards. Our destination was the Booderee National Park. We rented a bungalow in a lodge. Rolf and Anna recommended it to us.

The town Yanchep is one huge construction site. One development site lays next to the other. Is there a new highway up from Perth? Is Yanchep now in commuting distance from Perth? Or only for the weekend between sea and nature?

Monday 22^nd August - Wednesday early afternoon 24^nd August, 2016

On Monday again a drive of something over 300 km is ahead of us as we want to get to Kalbarri. The bush is getting taller and taller, now there are even real trees. And then we reach something bizarre: a field.

Friday/Saturday 12^th/13^th August, 2016

Today more than 200 km of dirt road awaits us. Shortly after the start in the Millstream Chichester National Park we see an big red cangaroo and his small friend. For me it is the first time I meet a red kangaroo in the wild. On the east coast there live the somewhat smaller grey ones.
