How fast passes the time, our three month in Sydney are now over again. We look back with a laughing and a crying eye.
Last year the employer of Konrad decided to close the office in Sydney.
Now as I finally got befriended with Sydney we have to depart forever. But we are glad we could come here again. Especially also because I planned and booked the trip following our Sydney stage rather early.

Slowly our time in Sydney passes, only eight days are left. First Konrad wanted to do the excusion to Watson Bay on the last possible date. But the weather forecast for Sunday predicted rain, so we made it a few days earlier.

As I wrote in the last post we stopped in Chatswood for the Vivid. That is a suburb about 20 minutes from home. There were different light sculptures, but the kids had most fun with the tulips.

Vivid is the annual festival of light in Sydney. Already for the 11th time houses Sydney there artistic light installations. It grew since our last Vivid visit seven years ago.

Monday 27th May, 2019
In 1935 a theme park with rides, carousel and the Coney Island Funhouse was build at Mosman Point. In between it got closed once due to fire and once due to the rides being too loud. I was opened again for the Olympic Games in 2001.
