Sunday 21^st until Tuesday 23^rd July, 2019

On late Sunday afternoon we checked in to our cabin on the camping resort in South Mission Beach. We chose this accommodation because the beach is over the road and with luck we can see southern cassowaries.

Monday 15^th until Wednesday 17^th July, 2019

In the morning we packed again our car and continued northwards. Before lunch we made a boat tour on the Daintree River to see wild saltwater crocodiles.

Wednesday 10^th and Thursday 11^th July, 2019

Most tourists go to Cairns for and excursion to the Great Barrier Reef. But with three small and active kids we did not want to be locked into a ship for a longer time, so we went to Fitzroy Island.
