A workmate of Konrad told us how nice Shark Beach is. Yesterday we made a bigger excursion and so a beach day is the right thing for today.

Very close to Sydney is the Royal National Park, the oldest in Australia. Konrad hiked there a few years ago and told me about the beautiful coast. So far I did not not manage to go there.

Palm Beach is located on a peninsula and is a suburb of Sydney. Also on Saturday morning there was quite some traffic, so it took us a bit more than an hour for the 47 km drive.

Sunday 21^st April, 2019

After our strenuous hike of Saturday it was clear that Easter Sunday should get a bit more relaxing. The kids asked again and again when the Easter Bunny is coming. I told them, that he wrote a letter telling that the will bring something to the Coogee Beach.

Saturday 20^th April, 2019

Sydney is around Port Jackson, a natural harbour, or you could also say a fjord. Along the harbour there are a few nice coastal walks. One of them is from the Spit Bridge to Manly. We have been a few times to Sydney, but we never managed to do this 10 km hike. 10 km with the kids is a challenge, but it is worth a try.
